I thought we organized more people in 3 years than Hoffa did in 20. Wow Seanie boy might be a liar!

TDU's take on th IBT's LM2 fails to mention anything about the big loss of members, the main story. Not only did we not grow like many other unions, we lost more members than any other union. I know many TDU members and I'm honestly surprised this is acceptable to them.

Hey IDO. If publishing lies through the mail or electronic communications is fraud and an act of racketeering (according to the RICO suit), what are you going to do to protect the membership from these knowingly patently false yet repeated claims of organizing between 50,000 and 80,000 new members? Not like this is the first instance in which the SOB administration falsified membership data to promote itself and deceive the members.

I wonder if the definition is different? I would think that only dues paying people are members. Perhaps they are claiming any organizing victory as a member? Can anyone tell us which is which?

They treat the Organizers worse than non union companies treat there employees. Ask some of them.

TDU members need to band together and reclaim their organization. The Paff Levin leadership is failing to uphold their proud history.

According to the numers reported by Freddie Z to the federal government the Union lost 16,224 members last year. We need some Berlin Rosen splainin to help us understand.

There has been organizing. Newly organized members only count on the LM when there is a contract and dues are collected, which takes a bit of time. Companies also layoff workers or close operations. Maybe UPS didn't have as many seasonal members working? That can inflate member numbers. A one year comparison doesn't show as much as looking over a few years. What are the 2016 - 2022 numbers?

For the last two and a half years we've been hearing about organizing wins and high numbers of "new members", even though in order to be a member you must pay dues. When there is an election win the PR says if its a 100 employee shop then we just organized "100 new members" In order to be a member you have to have a 1rst contract and it must a have a union security clause, plus in a RTW state not everyone will join. Every once in a while we hear about a successful first contract but it's not automatic in fact it happens in less then 40% of cases. The point is these oganizing elections do not necessarrily result in "members" and if they don't we'll never hear about it again.

This constant PR blitz about "new members", is a lie. Each year the truth comes out with the LM2's, either stagnent or like this year a big loss. If leadership wants to get serious about growth it's time for honesty about our strategy starting with Amazon.

How dare you and everyone on this thread suggest that the militant, transparent and rank-and-file led OZ administration would lie to us. That is like saying every politician lies. I cannot believe this lies. FAKE NEWS!!!

                    Yes, it is sarcasm.

The numbers for the year 2021 the membership handed off to OZ per the LM-2 were 1,253,854 a loss in membership any way you want to spin it.
