The IBT hired BerlinRosen to run their side of the propaganda campaign. I'm outraged that the leadership is spending dues on spin doctors to manipulate members into voting for a bad contract. This is no better than Hoffa Jr forcing the last contract on us after we clearly voted it down.

I've said it before. There will be no strike. If the contract is voted down, O'Brien will give the Company an extension. They will go back to the table and move nickels around. The OZ group is banking on full timers outnumbering the part timers during the vote and getting it passed. The OZ group is also going to continue the propaganda campaign to get the TA ratified

        Seems like the conventional wisdom.

I agree, there won't be a strike, but we need to get our pension contributions in line with the Washington, Oregon and the rest of the Country....

The million dollar question will be if UPS commits new money to address the pension issue or if the OZ group and Company will take it from wages/benefits...stay tuned

This is what you get when Brian Rainville is running your union. Coli's bagman is the master of deception. How do you spend 17, 18 years working for Coli and not be dirty? I guess it's Rome's fault.

Right , when did we start "selling" contracts. Most BA's and Local Officers honestly present the offer, usually with a recommendation. Good proposals don't need to be sold. As usual this is about ego as much as anything else.

The amount of propaganda needed to get this BS job ratified is ridiculous and members are paying for it with dues. If its "best ever" why is the union spending millions to convince us its even good. There won't be a strike regardless of what happens with the vote that's clear. This has all been a big phony campaign to convince the media how tough O'Brien is. There was never going to be a strike and a lot of members feel betrayed.

Spot on, why are we the menbers paying for a PR firm to prop up the OZholes in the national media while the members paying the freight are getting the same old shit in the " richest contract ever". This contract is average at best. Good luck finding anyone who voted for this deal in six months, Your front loaded raises will be meaningless, all the while UPS will work your ass to death and the relentless harrassment will continue as the company signs off on company will comply grievance settlements. Enjoy your mediocre pay raise, take pictures of your kids so you will have some memories and let me know how that A/C feels in your truck.

Every news story in the country is saying that UPSers will now be making 170k a year. Nothing about part timers and pension

The carrier's new labor contract will increase full-time drivers' compensation roughly 17% over five years, UPS' CEO said in an earnings call.

In addition to spending our dues on pr/marketing I believe they are also spending $1000 per month to Elon for the privilege of having a gold check mark next to their name on Twitter or "X" as it's called now.
