Peter Nunez is going to go down in history as one of the most honest, stand up Teamsters in our Union's history. Former Nor Cal UPS Chairman Marty Frates, who used to be close to Peter, has completely sold out. Marty will always be remembered, by the Western Region, as a Teamster informant and rat.

When other Western Region Leaders sold out for the multiple salaries and perks that come with supporting Sean O'Brien and this concessionary UPS agreement, Peter has remained an honest and independent voice for our Western Region member's interests.

Sean is going after Peter with every tool at his disposal, however, what ever ends up happening, Peter kept his honesty and integrity.

Pete Nunez and the rest of the Vairma slate were the ones who couldn’t quit Rome, not the rest of us. Please give me an example of other Teamster principal officers who behaved the way Nunez did at Rome’s first IDO hearing. Rome’s cadre of toadies (Nunez at the front) got there early and tried to take every seat but a few brave sisters were able to get in. They were totally outnumbered and Nunez and Gallegos and some of Romes other goons sat behind them calling them sluts and fat and ugly and any and all other names. They also threatened them. This is your definition of a stand up guy. Thank God this POS is about to be banned.

Has anyone figured out that every time a relevant argument is made that Local 174 CamiloCienfuegos always attempts to deflect from the facts by bringing up dead and buried Aloise, or stoops to personal attacks on the person who brought honest or factual arguments to this forum? When people attack the fact presenter rather than argue the facts, they don't have factual answers, only vitriol to fight with. Every person on the IBT payroll is instructed to get on social media and cheer for the contract. Pretty pathetic. It is not a bad agreement, why can't they just present it honestly and objectively. If it gets turned down, all that will happened is things will be moved around, no major changes, no more money to pension, unless it come from some already negotiated place. Just say "we gave up the West pension increases for other things, and it was easy because no one in the West stood up for their members!"

I understand that this website is just Sylvester supporters and what’s left of the Vairma crew and that’s why nobody really takes anything on here that seriously, but it’s funny that a Rome apologist like yourself would actually accuse someone of “resorting to vitriol.” That’s rich.

Go back and read the second and third comments on this thread. It’s nothing but a stroke job on Nunez who in fact is a POS. Is it really that wrong to point out FACTS about Nunez? He DID threaten women. He IS about to be banned for actions detrimental to the union. Unlike the smears on O’Brien, these are not just ad hominem attacks but actual documented FACTS and relevant when trying to determine what someone’s motivation may be. The same way it’s relevant to consider what Rome’s motivation may be in trying to scuttle this contract.

To CamiloCienfuegos: I sat directly behind these "sisters" at Rome's IDO hearing (see photo). As you can see, they were in the front row. From what I could see and hear, there was only one comment made in that room directed toward these "sisters," and that was as we were all walking out. So, spare us the indignation. And, if anyone has ever heard this "sister's" comments about Rome on Union Power Radio, they would get a real taste of abusive language (check out 9-9-2017). Your hatred for people who don't agree with you is pitiful.

Peter Nunez asked the right question of Chuck, how does it affect a members pension check. Why didn't Director Mark Davison ask it that way? Its a loss of $750. per month from your pension check. And TDU/IBT still say no concessions, its a huge concession!

Are you referring to the same two TDU females from NorCal? One of which was promised a job by both O'Brien and Zuckerman and then forgotten after taking office because she was a member of TDU?
