Just from the number of "Practice Pickets" being reported on this site in the News Zone, its very popular with members and is getting a lot of coverage in the news. UPS is seeing it everywhere.

Una de las huelgas más grandes en la historia de Estados Unidos contra una sola compañía podría estar organizándose, ya que miles de empleados de UPS está inconforme con el contrato laboral que les están ofreciendo.

They needed a politician with brains, so they sent AOC.

What is this practice picketing thing? you should be appointing a picket captain, making assignments, checking with banks to see about making late payments to help those that may need it and that stuff. practice picking, what the f**k.

Workers don't automatically know anything about striking if they've never struck before. Practice picketing builds confidence & solidarity, draws public attention and puts pressure on the company. And you can talk to members about all of what you just mentioned at these gatherings.

you can do that in a setting where you discuss assignments. Where to picket, shifts so you are there 24/7.

Yes it does. People who try it generally feel pretty good about participating.

Of course it is popular with the members ! EVERYONE who works for UPS loves the idea of striking them . For the FIRST day , after the reality sets in it becomes less popular.

When the first direct deposit evaporates, reality sets in.

That's why leadership is important. you must prepare properly. It could be a long strike, and by long i mean weeks or even months. The better prepared you are the more powerful you can be. STAY UNITED.

As usual, this lunatic proves how stupid she is every day. Part timers do NOT do the same work as full timers.
Who is that Hoffa lover to her right? Oh, it’s Vinnie “It was all Hoffa, not O’Brien” Perrone, Hoffa support and reform sell out.

no, i mean local leadership. Get out and elect someone you think will do a good job. It takes work, hard work, but that's the only way.

UPS union members have already voted to go on strike if they don’t have a new collective bargaining agreement in place by Aug. 1.
