Our storied and fearless General President, Sean O'Brien, has publicly called immigrant workers "illegal aliens", just as former Teamster GP Jackie Presser did back in 1983.
O'Brien is a great friend of DHS head Markwayne Mullin.

Below is the inscription on the Statue of Liberty that welcomed the millions of immigrant workers during the US industrial revolution arriving at Ellis Island. These millions followed millions of African people that were captured and sold into slavery.

"Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame,
    With conquering limbs astride from land to land;
Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand
A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame
Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name
Mother of Exiles. From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. "Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

    Emma Lazarus
    November 2, 1883

And below is a paragraph set forth in the Teamsters Constitution Preamble (written by T-Unionlink blogger Gary Witlin)

Will our Union do anything to help this Teamster member Brother Nnmadi and his family? What does the below provision in our IBT Constitution mean to Sean O'Brien? He took an oath to uphold it's meaning.,

"Today, as we are confronted by the challenges of a global economy dominated by multi-national corporations that sweep past national borders and forage the globe in search of new workers and resources to exploit, we recognize that the future of working people and the future of our great Union depend on our ability to organize the unorganized and to build alliances with workers throughout the world. We recognize that the struggle for human rights, including the fundamental right of workers to form and join free trade unions, implicates universal principles which cannot be confined by national borders. The welfare of our members is interrelated with the ability of our fellow workers in the global marketplace to demand and obtain decent wages and working conditions from their employers. We pledge to support the legitimate efforts of our brother and sister workers to achieve the right to organize and obtain fair terms of employment. We reaffirm our belief that only through a strong democratically accountable Union can workers be protected and prosper and only with the allegiance of its members and the mutual support of united labor organizations can the Union survive."

AlJackson1962 you make a valid point. SOB is ignoring clear Constitutional language, not just about immigration but also the the policy of Teamsters vs Everybody.
