The tentative deal regarding the delivery giant's SurePost service is subject to ratification of the next national contract, which is still being negotiated.

According to UPS they have reached a TA on certain language. They will discuss the remaining supplements next week.

I believe the TA is SurePost only and they list a few other issues as resolved. National bargaining continues June 5.

If the union announced a TA on SurePost to the media, (Kara Deniz emailed the writer of this story) why wasn't this, or any other TA's, announced to the membership?

Because the TAs won't be presented individually to the membership. Members will get the complete set of TAs not just bits and pieces

Kara didn't send the media the information on the TA. The reporter asked for the Union's response on an article that was going to be written about a TA. The Union's response came by email.
