US Department of Labor Inspector General issues report regarding Sean O'Brien's pick for USDOL, Lori Chavez Deremer (see below NY Times article in link).

With federal oversight of the Teamsters internal disciplinary process ending, what transparency can rank and file Teamsters expect from the OZ GEB?

And didn't the OZ GEB recently approve a substantial DRIVE donation to Chavez Deremer's own PAC (even after she resigned the USDOL in disgrace!)?

American Workers First PAC was registered with the FEC as a non-qualified hybrid, which means it does not have to reveal its contributors. Since it was registered on July 7, it doesn't have to file any reports yet. Its FEC file is C0095591. The only way to find out what the IBT may have contributed is to ask the self-proclaimed "most transparent administration ever" and see if they tell you how much dues and/or DRIVE money has been contributed. Then you can monitor the FEC site and see where Chavez DeRemor passed on the money.
