Let me begin by saying that there is nothing in the lit piece that would surprise me. That said, this is poor. Nothing indicates the author or the intended audience. There is nothing therein to support some very serious implications. Very little in terms of explanations. You've done much better than this OT+.

I read the entire piece, seems very well written and very detailed as to who it’s intended audience is it seems obvious . Also seems as though the author is very conscious of the retaliation factor involved. Obviously this is a vote no campaign piece put out by what would appear to be a group of dissatisfied members. Let’s see what follows.

I was wondering does the below article change your view on the validity of the above posted anonymous post?

This reads like a group ready to decertify the Teamsters and shop another union. Everything O'Brien touches turns to shit.

More than a week after declaring an "industry-leading" agreement, the Teamsters have still not released a term sheet, wage schedule or contract language to United mechanics.

A 19-12 vote by the Union bargaining committee says a whole lot. And that vote allegedly was conducted after pressure was applied by the IBT leadership to vote yes for recommendation to the affected members?

Durring the 2023 UPS negotiations everyone on the union side had to sign a Nondisclosure agreement in order to be part of it. If whoever wrote about the committee vote is on the committee thats probably why the didn't name any names or give their own name.

Based on what I see this group is union shopping. The RLA is so outdated and coupled with O'Brien's pigheaded ignorance AMFA has dropped cards.. He will have to send.in the organizers he's currently union busting. People get what they didn't vote for in this case

AMFA or the Airline Mechanics Fraternal Association is unaffiliated and raided our SW air mechanics decades ago. We raided the machinists mechanics at United many years ago and so goes the tale of raids under the RLA similar to unions in the public sector. If you don't like your union get enough cards signed and vote them out.
