About 400 Teamsters in 2 locals work for Giant Eagle/Talon Logistics/OK Grocery (249&636).

Kroger over the last 30+ years has outsourced their warehouse/transportation to a myriad of companies. How do you think this will play out? Will they keep the Pittsburgh warehouse open and outsource it to some logistics company or will they close it and truck in the product from somewhere else?

Have you talked to the BA to see if the company has made contact or a statement as to their plan?

If I was the BA I'd want to know the nearest Kroger Facilities and are they at capacity. How do the contracts compare. Has Kroger indicated they will honor the contract. Basic research can indicate the odds.

They'll probabaly want to make "changes". Organize members for a fight.
