In SoCal Sean "the fraud" O'Brien incorrectly claims that these negotiations will be the first with rank-and-file members. In the 1993 and 1997 contract negotiations Ron Carey used rank-and-file members for the first time in UPS Teamster history.

Only about 250 to 300 members showed up to the SoCal rally. About 50 to 100 of them were overflows from other 952 crafts that had stayed from the General Membership Meeting conducted in the morning.

Pathetically, Jason Rabinowitz who is from NorCal Teamsters and does not even have UPS showed up to kiss O'Brien's ass. Rabinowitz is under the IIO loop and the possibility of him being brought up on charges is very high. He ran on the Vairma-Herrera slate and campaigned on the lie O'Brien would tap into the Western pension fund to bailout his.
