I seem to remember that Walter Taylor WAS a big supporter of Sandy Pope years ago. I guess the price of being an officer now means fealty to Obrien at the cost of what once was personal values. It seems very strange to go from a TDU steering committee member where the phrase “Vote until you get it right “ was a condemnation of a Hoffa practice to adopting the same method. Its unclear, to me, what your question refers to. The striking Mauser workers in 707, are/were fighting to protect immigrant workers who are members of that bargaining unit. If they're unit members, whether documented or not, they're subject to any Union security provisions, and therefore must be fairly represented by the Union; under past (not sure that's changed) rulings the NLRB has made that current law. That's my understanding. Can you explain the intent of your above quoted post? Thanks.
