I’m sorry, can anyone actually make the argument against my statement that Carol Tome has played O’Brien at every turn of the game? She has sat back and let him run his mouth without comment , she has won at every step along the way. Let’s take a look back at his conduct , he spent almost a year rattling his saber about how we will strike UPS, she said nothing, practice pickets , she said nothing , he claims he stopped robotics and automation, she said nothing , he bragged his contract was historic and she said nothing . Then after she secured five years of labor peace and a contract with no teeth she started speaking through actions, facilities closed permanently , facilities closed temporarily while being automated, robotics being installed, split shifts imposed, lay-offs, bottles of water instead of air conditioning. Yes, she spoke only to say “. By the way , we can still do that” when referencing her plan to automate every aspect of the job possible. Language so weak and insufficient about technology that it is laughable and therefore her comment “ we can still do that” . Let’s take one last look at O’Brien’s position on the Buy Out, he screamed and yelled against it , he filed law suits, he called for grievances didn’t he? So what was his plan? Stop the members from taking cash in favor of being layed-off? Think about it. I guess he is correct about one thing , we better buckle our chin straps, it’s going to get rough.

Is it possible they don't realize this is a popular program to alot of Drivers? And didn't it mean that other Drivers wouldn't get laid off.
