Not sure about that as he's mugging the GOP camera these days without regard. Admittedly, he's probably positioned right there in view at DJTs request just to give the numbscull in front cover for his assinine macho behavior. Prob is Mullin is a rigid, biased figure under DJTs thumb and his nice guy routine of "openess" belies the fact he will never change his mind based on facts or reality. His belief's are set in stone, (disliked by his Cherokee elders), and a perfect fit for guys like Trump, Obrien, Hawley, Graham, Langford, etc.since they all also give no thought to others and lack reflective thought.
