Just like Hoffa, he talked tough on UPS and we got screwed every contract that he was in office. His old man talked a good game too. Look at all the millions he stole from the central states.

I did watch the whole video. Didn't the CEO Congressman say he gives way better health insurance to his employees? I believe him. Didn't Biden screw the rail workers recently? Who signed NAFTA in to law? And we continue to throw money at Democrats? We need to wonder why people have no desire to join our unions. Participation in the US is 10% with the private sector at 3%.

Here in Philadelphia, the Roofers Union is almost non-existent. For many years, the unions went out and destroyed properties, including residents. Now that union is minimal.

BTW, unions created these labor laws and that would include Right To Work. Ask Rob Atkinson how the NLRB worked for him.

I do agree with you that "we continue to throw money at Democrats" and that needs to stop, That has created apathy in our and every union.What have the dems done to help the working class. O'Brien can talk big but it was him who screwed up the 2013 agreement.

Sean O'Cryin (SOC) comes across as a defensive boss baby. His handlers, and he has many, should have prepared him for right-to-work senators and beat them at their own game.

Members may like the fight, but it was performative and childlike. This tactic may work on the campaign trail but it doesn't work long-term for the members, it doesn't build an image of a strong Teamsters Union and certainly turns off politicians from working with us. It's sort of like when you tell someone off real good on the job, but then you have to work with them.

If anything, this was a missed opportunity to make our UPS Teamster membership shine and talk about the incredible gains the members make by negotiating good strong contracts. It was clear that the senator didn't even know the difference between a feeder driver and a package car driver. Maybe SOC just needs some more practice, but the head of the most important private sector union in the US has a responsibility to do better than this. We're just fortunate that no one asked him about the mass firing of his own staff a year ago and the exodus since. Now that really says something about his character.
