NYC Nurses Strike - Mayor Mamdani welcomed on the picket line!

Contrast the current IBT political perspective as set forth in the "Teamsters Substack.com" post titled "Loyalty is not a Strategy: Labor Needs a Bipartisan Coalition" with the below clip of NYC Mayor Mamdani speaking on the picket line of striking NYC hospital nurses. The IBT "leadership" wants bipartisanship, ok, where's any bipartisan support from O'Brien's pal Trump and his Republican blood sucking allies?
Don't hold your breathe waiting for O'Brien's sellout ploy to Trump/MAGA.

You want political support on your picket line?

Standing with working women and men. What a novel concept, O'Brien should consider it sometime even if it offends his MAGA owners.

There are a bunch of Nurse Units either on strike or getting ready to strike with the NY Nurses the largest, Isn't there aTeamster Nurse strike in Michigan. Also I read in this news feed that Local 743 will strike the Chicago Hospitals although I don't believe thats a Nurse unit. Something definetly going on in healthcare.

This NYC nurses strike is a great opportunity for Teamster organizing and contract battles in the healthcare industry. There are ongoing organizing campaigns, strikes, and upcoming healthcare contracts in the Teamsters. Wouldn't it be wise to show a strong Teamster presence on the NYC picket lines and act in solidarity with them?

In Local 251, the Rhode Island Hospital contract is upcoming for bargaining a revised Agreement. That's the biggest bargaining unit in Local 251.

Solidarity is always the key, but I don't see evidence of it in the OZ "leadership"; especially with the official and sanctioned Teamsters slogan "Teamsters vs. Everybody".
