"Honestly, we seem to be serving the billionaire class, and not the working class. What I would like to see is Congress take hold of its responsibility, which is they have the right to regulate tariffs. Not the one man in the White House," said John Palmer, International Vice President At-Large of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.

Someone should ask that panelist why he quit doing the actual work of building our union almost 3 years ago. Why did he fail at directing internal organizing but has a platform of internal organizing? All of the PR stunts since are just self-serving to maintain a do-nothing job.

You say he quit three years ago? Well he was TDU for a long time. Guess his quitting was just mirroring TDU quitting doing their job! Nothing he has done rivals the P R stunts TDU endorses and participates in. Gimme danger living in glass houses….

Hey Danger, your description of Palmer is the exact same description of O’Brien! Self serving PR stunts ? How can Palmers actions be compared to the Fox News, Mar A Lago dinners, pod cast events, posing with very anti labor republican for photo ops and ridiculous cross country trips that O’Brien has charged to our union?

Let’s get real here, with the concept of teamsters vs everybody the drive to organize Amazon is dead in the water. It will take a combined effort of ALL LABOR working together to even come close to having an impact on Amazon.
This is just another Public Relations event the way it is being handled.

Is O’Brien having his annual Amazon announced one week “ strike” ? Will we have our “organizer of the year” arrested again? Another good press event to show how tough we are.

Yo: Gimme_Danger: Why do you and the orchestrated sham TDU Convention, ignore the most basic tenets of Union solidarity, by endorsing a right wing MAGA/Trumpster (Sean O'Brien) for another term as Teamster GP?

Is it me or has anyone else also noticed, SOB Supporters-Trump Lovers-MAGA-Believers seem to engage in “Drive-by-alternative fact based-hate speech” spitting out their one liners, then disappearing not to be heard from again until their next drive-by?

Recently it was posted in an obvious attempt to discredit Palmer, that he “QUIT doing the actual work of building our union” Perhaps the poster should have read the first post in the Open Forum, Sticky:1 VP and 3 Old Teamsters File IDO Complaint Against OZ. Started by OT+, 03-19-2024, 12:01 PM, that states the removal of Vice President John Palmer from his assignments after he questioned some aspects of the UPS agreement. The effect was to prevent Palmer from traveling on union business, other than attending GEB meetings. He cannot visit job sites or talk to members on the same basis as all other members of the GEB. Not content with placing him under virtual house arrest, OZ conspired with his former employer to terminate Palmer’s “union leave” privileges and sever his prior employment relationship. Palmer has filed an unfair labor practice charge with the NLRB, a process that can take months or years before redress is ordered. And if the OZ team fights the NLRB investigators with Nixon Peabody and the same vigor it has focused on TeamsterLink, the NLRB path may take even longer.”

Palmer signed and dated the complaint, attesting to the truthfulness of its contents and to officially establish the filing date, which is crucial for proceedings and deadlines. His signature makes the document legally valid, confirms the filer's intent to initiate the complaint, and ensures the complaint starts on an official record.

It’s been well over a year since VP at Large Palmer filed the IIO and NLRB complaint and as of yet, apparently no response from either as this site would have posted it.

Perhaps the “Drive-by-Poster" will engage in a real back-and-forth conversation. Don’t hold your breath!

Maybe the drive by poster can tell us something about the sudden unexplainable retirement of Vice President Griswold.
