As usual their calling this a win and historic but it does'nt give any specifics The number one issue in the strike was getting Teamster health insurance and that didn't happen . After three months on strike if they had won Teamster coverage they would have said so, instead they say improved healthcare. You just can't believe anything that comes from this crew.

Three months plus on strike and not much changed, still no Teamster health coverage. Individual settlements all over the country while Local 25 was still without an acceptable offer. This is an example of OZ's version of Teamster solidarity.

Dozens of Republic Teamsters in Cumming, Ga., represented by Teamsters Local 728, remain on strike against the waste giant and have extended picket lines to Columbus, Ohio. This has resulted in a work stoppage affecting more than 80 workers. Teamsters in Georgia and Ohio will remain on picket lines against Republic until they are offered a fair new agreement.
