So glad we didn’t endorse the democrats, we never would have been able to see just what was in store for us.

While SOB trots around the country for photo ops to support his reelection campaign, "his" President takes time between golf outings to tear up federal collective bargaining agreements, "his" Secretary of Labor abandons programs to protect children abroad from exploitation, the IBT abandons any support for Canadian and American members whose livelihoods will be threatened by a stupid trade war, and Trump again paralyzes the NLRB by attempting to remove a Board member, And lest we forget the promotion of self-driving vehicles manufactured by Tesla, available for sale soon on the White House lawn. The only thing we hear from the IBT is praise for the appointment of a UPS official to OSHA. Make no mistake. Project 2025 included a call to eliminate prohibitions on child labor in the US. Florida has already announced plans to review its limits with the intent of letting juveniles work in more dangerous operations, not only subjecting them to injury but also displacing adult workers. With what we've seen in the last 2 months, is it beyond belief that this morally bankrupt administration will soon claim that "overregulation" and "restrictive" child labor laws need to be weakened in this country to compete with other countries who will increase their exploitation of children after the elimination of DOL monitoring? When will the IBT join the rest of organized labor, indeed, the rest of people and organizations with a social conscience, and oppose this anti-worker group of oligarchs!

Well...I don't think that the question is "When will the IBT?". Because it's assured that the IBT will not join in any material way. O'Brien is the IBT. I think that the question should be "When will SOB be taken on?" so that the IBT can join in? This is indefensible and unforgiveable!

Two hundred union workers, out of 5,700 who assemble dishwashers, refrigerators, washers, and dryers for GE Appliances-Haier at Appliance Park in Louisville, Kentucky, received notice this month that the Trump administration is revoking their work authorizations. The immigrant workers from Cuba, Nicaragua, Haiti, and Venezuela have received a mixed reaction to their imminent deportation—hostility from some co-workers and an outpouring of support from their union and the local labor movement. They’re part of the Communications Workers’ industrial division, IUE-CWA Local 83761.

IUE-CWA protecting their members, that's what I like to see. Will O'Brien or any GEB member openly advocate for immigrant workers, or the TDU Steering Committee members?
Or will they only follow O'Brien's party line?
