Great statement. I also believe in the same principles. It's sad that we will be called Scabs and other horrific names.

Steven’s post contains a lot of complaints, but no supporting facts. One example is, “We should be able to drill for our own oil and not be dependent on any other country for anything”

A quick search to the question, Is US oil production increasing?

Answer: US oil production has surged since 2008
With innovations in hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling boosting oil production, the U.S. surpassed Russia and Saudi Arabia a few years ago to lead the world in oil production. Sep 9, 2024

What country produces the most oil in 2024?
      Top 10 Oil-producing Countries (Updated Aug 14,2024)

Brother Steven Andrew and other Teamsters that think Trump is a better choice for our Union and workers in the US:

I do not fear the points you site in your post as the reason for your Trump support.

          - The refugees at our southern border are, in large part, the result of US foreign policy in the Caribbean, and Central and South America. For close to 100 years US foreign policy has exploited countries in those regions, backed dictators over elected leaders, invaded these territories, and engaged in overt and covert subversion against popular movements, and openly encouraged, supported, and engaged in coups for the purpose of controlling and dominating the economies of these nations. Had US foreign policy supported democracy and popular movements in this region, these nations would have the opportunity to independently create governments and economies that benefit their citizens. Trump, Elon Musk, and the billionaires should look in the mirror to find out why their is a flood of refugees at our southern border.

          - You say Republicans have never taken anything from you. Here is only one very current and important matter that disproves your take. Under the Obama appointed NLRB, new case rulings on defining what constitutes the definition of "Joint Employer" opened the door to organizing and engaging in concerted activities against employers that used subcontractors to insulate them from actions directed at their subcontractors. Trump NLRB appointees reversed that ruling and narrowed the definition of "Joint Employer". When Biden was sworn in on January 20, 2021, his first action was to fire the Trump appointed NLRB General Counsel and he then filled the NLRB vacancies with pro-labor Board members. A recent ruling by a Regional NLRB office in California has found that Amazon's delivery subcontractors are controlled by Amazon and therefore Amazon is a Joint Employer of these delivery subcontractors. This, according to "non-endorsement" Sean O'Brien (and I agree ) is a huge labor victory and will greatly help organizing Amazon workers (read the Teamster website). A Trump NLRB will surely reverse this victory and help defeat union organizing in the US.

          - We are on opposite sides on the other issues that you site as the reason you back Trump. I will not elaborate further except to say, Trump cares only about himself. His campaigns of vitriol and hatred against people that are different than him (non-white people, women, LGBTQ people, Muslim people, etc.) are rooted in dividing and conquering the working class, so he and his billionaire buddies can have more profit and power to exploit the World. He is a pathological liar, he is a climate change denier, a gun control rejector; hell, he mocks disabled people!
Why so many Americans support him, in my view, is primarily based on fear. Fear that the majority White population will become the minority in the decades ahead. I don't fear that reality, I embrace it.

Oil consumption has always remained around 20 million barrels a day. Oil production here in the US has increased to roughly 12 million not specifically under any President but more increasingly under Trump. The green energy policies of the Democrat Party will have a drastic effect on the market.

Once again, I respectfully disagree. Willing to share why if interested.

You suggested sticking to union matters. This video is from a few days ago. Perhaps we could find some common ground here.

Thank you for the response, it is appreciated!

Was that response a bumper sticker on your car or truck from the Trump Campaign? If so, how much did it cost, $55, $105? Did it include Trump’s God Bless the USA’ Bibles for $59.99 because he faces mounting legal bills? https://apnews.com/article/trump-god-bless-usa-bible-greenwood-2713fda3efdfa297d0f024efb1ca3003

Or did you buy the USA made version? Oh, wait there is no USA version. Although, Trump has long blasted China’s trade practices, his ‘God Bless the USA’ Bibles were printed there. https://apnews.com/article/trump-god-bless-usa-bible-china-32a80611605d4052d8238064bbcace4c

Apparently, you didn’t watch the video, instead going straight into the attack mode. While I admire your willingness to defend your anti-union/worker candidate, my question is, are you unwilling or unable to accept the clear difference in tract records between candidates on unions/workers?

Bernie Sanders just called out Kamala as a phony. Border policies changed, fracking changed, green policies changed, ACA changed but keeps saying she will extend them. Wait till she does further stealing from our benefits to pay for others. I decided to work at UPS for the great benefits, and the Democrats and my union destroyed that hope.

Question(s): Did Kamala really work at McDonalds? Is her Grandmother really white instead of black like she claimed? She grew up in a wealthy family and didn't grow up "middle class". Same with Obama. He grew up in upper class private schools then some how became a neighborhood organizer. Fact is that he took on his step father's name. He was friends with the Bush family because the CIA shill HW was friends with his step father in the oil business. He grew up as Barry Soetoro all the way threw college and for some reason changed it to Barack Obama.

Please don't pin me with being a full fledged Trump supporter. I simply think freely, just like when it comes to this union.

So I take it your voting for the most anti-union president and candidate in history.
