"They have Fucked Us for the Last Forty Years"

“You need to fix it. Stop pointing fingers at Sean O’Brien. Stop pointing fingers at the Teamsters Union. Look in the mirror. I mean, I had a heated debate with, heated discussion two weeks ago with Chuck Schumer, and it got fucking ugly.”

We may never live this down. SOB makes this statement after hundreds of thousands of teamster pensions were saved without one republican vote, That includes O'Briens own mismanaged, failing New England plan that he chairs. Unbelievable.

His advisors apparently don't care what the general public thinks about his borish, fake macho bullshit. While everyone can agree that neither party has done a lot for labor over the years, but on local levels, the Dems are the only ones who helped occasionally, especially in the East, and West, and who generally didn't hurt us. Deregulation as an excuse 40 +years later is a joke. Frankly, the Teamsters didn't adapt quickly if at all; (if you think about Yellow), and we couldn't or wouldn't keep the industry alive. The sob handlers know that within the union, he hasn't really hurt himself badly with the footsie playing with trump, as it is probably a fact that a majority of the members who vote (white, senior members) will vote against the majority interests and well being of the Union and what it does and stands for. Depending on who gets elected, sob will be the pariah of Labor, or the Teamsters will never have influence for a generation. He is totally full of shit about giving $15M dollars to the Dems, as the Teamsters have been one of the least spending international unions. Unfortunately, leadership and opposition has to form from the locals, and most are bought and paid for with small monthly stipends. Less members will vote in the next so-called election, than ever before. I am guessing under 11%.

Politicians are like prostitutes. If you got the money, you will get a turn. The quicker you realize this the better.

What makes you think he has advisors? That he would take advice from anyone?

He's definitely being advised by BerlinRosen on PR strategy, right? There's no way IBT is paying all that money just for those branded graphics on social media.

This is from a Sean O'Brien profile from 2016:

"O’Brien looked at his press handler (always present during our interviews)" https://archive.ph/0p3sC

If O'Brien's issue with the Democratic Party was their turning a blind eye to the Israeli governments' war and genocide on Palestinians, I would respect that. The AIPAC money that has lined the campaign coffers of so many politicians in office that are Democrats and Republicans is hypocrisy of the highest order in my view. But it is seems clear that O'Brien has staked out his support for Trump and his allies based on his own political and twisted perspective; not what's in the best interests of the members he's elected to represent..That he claims to have a heated, ugly argument with Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer is further evidence that O'Brien thinks he's all that, and he's willing to sacrifice the interests of the workers to advance his belief that he's the toughest SOB on the planet. O'Brien, to my knowledge, has said nothing about the overt racism and misogynism espoused by Trump. However, he would like the members to believe he is building a diverse and empowered union; What about the many thousands and thousands of people of color and women that comprise the Teamsters rank and file? O'Brien is silent on this matter.

I will vote for Harris/Walz with the personal recognition that they are the better choice overall and knowing that the alternative (Trump/Vance) will be a catastrophe for working people and the World in general

Why is Hamilton putting fliers out at UPS telling everyone who to vote for ?

The majority of the members were polled. He stayed neutral. The rest of the GEB betrayed the members. They're not real leaders. They all need to be voted out of office.
