Members always have the right to "speak" at the ballot box, but it doesn't relieve the leadership of the Union to explain to them the better candidates for the issues that affect workers, the workplace, and unions. Leadership has to deal with politicians, like it or not, members don't. This ranges from local issues that affect employers and our members working for them, to issues affecting industries where our members work. Members perspectives are personal, the union's is institutional. It's perspective is global, and leadership has an obligation to at least explain the difference to the membership. The oz administration is trying to hide sob's desire to be mini-trump over his domaine.

Endorsemts should not be based on polls. The facts and actions of the candidates should speak to the endorsement. It's not a beauty pagent.

This has nothing to do with who to endorse. It's a personal vendetta. They got what they wanted from Johnny. TDU votes.
