That pic of the scab in our building makes me crazy, almost as much as him saying Haitian's in Ohio eat their neighbors pets.

This article in Slate sums it up: The union has taken the Democrats for granted in spite of enormous help and legislation by the Biden/Harris administration. In spite of this, as President, VP Harris said she would treat the union fairly. She has worked from very humble beginnings in the Berkeley/Oakland, California areas to achieve everything she's done, and so I beliece her. The former President on the other hand is just having a laugh at how he can manipulate a Sean O'Brien with no promise of anything other than more bad news for unions. in this regard, the Slate article makes the excellent point that, if there was a trend towards Trump the leadership should have been educating members on why a former President who undermines unions at every turn is not good for them or their familys' future incomes and employment. Then they could scan that unscientific bar code-poll-vote questionnaire (ha!) on the back of the glossy union magazine and make an educated vote about who the candidates actually are. This election is making me look harder at who my representation is in the union of which I've been a member for about 5 1/2 years.
