I wasn’t insulted at all! Preferred seeing dozens of our retirees being recognized and given the opportunity to give thanks for saving their pensions.

Great seeing our retirees recognized for their hard work. They were rewarded by the Democrats who cared to save their pensions. Not a peep out of little Napolean's mouth thanking them for the 5.7 billion to his miserably failing New England States Fund. Why would anyone invite this ungrateful punk to anything?

The Democrats are acting like a bunch of little children. I could give two shits about Sean Obrien BUT to not invite the head of a union because he is shopping our values with both parties is ludicrous.

Don’t believe for a minute he was shopping anything but his own interests.

Gimliboston, 100% correct. His ego has himself believing he is that important. He will never admit what a sorry poker player he is. He lost all his chips betting on the Orange Turd. Dumbass....

Oh trust me, I would not doubt for a minute that Sean was doing what was best for Sean. I have not forgotten what he did at the convention of 2016.

At this point who gives a damn who the teamsters endorse, most unions have been educating and mobilizing members for months. Early voting starts in about 35 days.

O'Brien thought he picked a winner (got to wonder what the Mar a Lago deal was) and didn't expect the "switcharoo". Now we've pissed off virtually all our friends and allies and based on Biden/Harris saving the pensions of 600,00 teamsters we've shown ourselves to not support those who support us. Quit digging this hole!

At this late stage if Harris did attend the dog and pony show at the IBT I think I'd be disappointed in her.

O’Brien is an idiot. No Democrats who are Teamsters give a rat’s hat that he didn’t speak at the DNC. He’s an embarrassment to the labor movement.

It is a slap in the face. Both sides are taking this personal.

He republican members aren’t feeling that way. It seems like he is getting support from a whole new demographic that wasn’t in play in 2021. Stay tuned.

The arrogance of a SOB thinking both conventions would invite him to what is in essence a pep rally for either team. I can't ever recall any labor leader or speaker in general being invited to speak to both conventions. When you invite someone you invite them because they will fire up the delegates and the party. As Carville stated " Everything Trump touches turns to shit," I think O'Brien was already a POS, but now he's Trumps' personal POS. Whoevers giving SOB advice is at least as stupid as SOB.

Mr. Teamster, your statement is like a wooden stake through the heart of our union. It is the exact point of what the lack of leadership shown by O’Brien and most of the GEB has led us to. Are you proud O’Brien is spawning a “ whole new demographic” supporting a candidate that wants to destroy unions and the working class? You have the right to vote for whom ever you want for what ever reason, no problem. But when you present yourself as one thing Mr. Teamster, then promote the candidate with a proven track record of crushing everything that represents, we must ask, which side you are really on?

Hi Dana, like I said vote for whom ever you want for what ever reason. I sure you have you reasons to vote for just like I have my reasons to vote against and we would likely argue until the cows come home. If this election was just about a difference in policies would be on thing, but its more, much more. How do I say that? By comparing past actions, current comments and future-plans for unions/workers by each candidate. As a union member the side I support is the easiest choice ever. As I rank my reasons to vote for or against from least to most important, defeating an anti-union/worker candidate will always be number one for me.

The Teamsters, despite our faults, have all ways stood for improved working conditions and workers' rights. Now, because of O’Brien’s lack of leadership by providing a green light instead of educating members of the threat is creating a “whole new demographic” that will vote against their own best interest as union members. The result, we destroy ourselves from within. While Mr. Teamster seems to be proud of this path, I will call this out whenever I see it.

I support your right to vote for whom ever for what ever reason. However, in this election at this time, no disrespect intended, I will disagree beyond when the cows come home.

Spot on Brother! The labor side of this election could not be any clearer or starker. A union busting, labor hating, striker replacing scab versus the administration that saved our pensions and has been the most pro union in my lifetime. Shame on the OZholes for not having the spine to engage and educate our members. They are nothing more than political hacks pandering to both sides of the electorate at the expense of the membership.
