    Betrayal at the highest level!

The level of betrayal for personal ego enhancements cannot be disregarded by the Teamster membership and especially their elected Local Union leaders. The GEB has exhibited no guts, and remains silent, thereby endorsing the irresponsible actions of O'Brian. This single act, after Biden kept his word, has destroyed Teamster credibility, maybe forever! If the members disregard this, our union will continue to die a slow death.

Statement from President Joe Biden on Protecting 600,000 Teamster Pensions

As of today, over 600,000 Teamster workers and retirees have pensions protected from devastating cuts. They earned those pensions after working for decades. And now they can retire with dignity.

This didn’t happen by accident. It’s because my Administration is keeping our commitment to America’s workers.

Today’s action protects the pensions of 70,000 workers and retirees in New England—including 6,000 in New Hampshire, where my team is making this announcement alongside Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan and the New England Teamsters Pension Fund. To date, we have protected more than 40,000 Teamsters in Ohio and Michigan; more than 30,000 in Illinois and Missouri; and more than 20,000 in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.

Because of the American Rescue Plan and the support of Congressional Democrats who passed it without a single Republican vote, over 1 million union workers and retirees have already been protected from brutal cuts of up to 75% to the pensions they sacrificed so much to secure.

And Biden did that without a secret dinner meeting.

How could any labor union even consider endorsing someone who has time and again proven how they feel about unions?

This was done through the ARPA and the Butch Lewis Act in 2021. Not an executive order. But definitely a great thing for union pension plans. 29 House R's and 0 Senate R's voted for this, with VP Harris casting the tie-breaking vote in the Senate.

We in the labor movement have spent years trashing dems for always stabbing us in the back, but here's one of the rare instances when politicians did the absolute right thing and the people who should be most thankful turned their backs. It's gross.

I'm waiting to hear from the GEB, those with JC's should endorse Harris at the least. There are local races to consider.

              They were meaningless beforehand
There are two choices in this election— an anti-union freak and his little anti-union sidekick JD Vance and a woman that supports unions,
              It’s an easy one

Question I get most often now from other union members: "What the F*** is going on with the Teamsters?"

I saw that Palmer had the balls to endorse Harris. The GEB needs to piss or get off the pot. Less than 100 days to the election. This isn’t rocket science.

The Teamsters International political program is in complete meltdown. Kamala Harris is surging, while we look like traitors to the entire labor movement, turning our back on the one politician that saved our pensions, which everyone knew were hopelessly failing. We've taken a very public hit to our credibility, and shown we can not be trusted. Who would have guessed this GEB could be so cowardly.
