Teamster Pres. Urged to Cancel RNC Speech

One Teamsters official warned the union leader's scheduled appearance "only normalizes and makes the most anti-union party and president I've seen in my lifetime seem palatable."

It is impossible to measure the damage, the betrayal, and the total humiliation that oz, and sob will cause as a result of speaking in prime time at the RNC. OF COURSE, sob loves the ego boosting jolt this will give him personally, and for those misguided members who will vote against their best interests, this will bolster his standing with the white, higher paid, entitled group who love their imagined place in society as superior. But for workers, both organized and especially those who are trying to form a Union, this is devastating. Biden saves pensions, especially IBT pensions, and the Republicans want to claw back the money, Biden reinvigorates the NLRB, trump tore it apart, Biden fights off any national RTW, trump said he likes RTW. Just a few of the reasons sob should be shunned by the rest of the labor movement, forever! Maybe he will fool the RNC and chastise them for their anti-union platforms, and maybe cows will fly!!! What a shame...

Koldiww has expressed this issue perfectly. As did Jazzman on another thread, how is the rest of the labor movement supposed to view the Teamsters associating with such a historically anti union and avowed pro RTW Group?

I can’t imagine what the rest of labor must think of the Teamsters? Let me rephrase that, I can’t imagine what the rest of labor thinks of our president?

Some labor union leaders are questioning President Joe Biden's electoral viability following his poor debate performance in June,

While they are taking the dysfunctional path of the Dems, it certainly doesn't say they are kissing trumps ass!

Former first lady Melania Trump is not expected to speak at next week's Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, which will feature speeches by other Trump family members.

From what I was told the straw poll results are in favor of Trump. Is that true ?

President Joe Biden unabashedly touts himself as the “most pro-union president” in the history of the country. But that’s not stopping the president of one of the country’s largest labor unions from speaking this week in Milwaukee to the Republican National Convention, which is poised to ...

This is reprehensible. I could say I told you so, but people need to learn their own life lessons. Everyone will think they real change is going to happen with new elected leadership. I can tell you. There is no union that should ever support Donald John Trump. He is the epitome of evil. He hates unions, workers and all labor. He has an over 50 year history of screwing the worker.

Everyone that wants to condemn Biden. Well, let’s see what happens when the dictator wins in November. It will get so much worse. We are at a crossroads. Young people need to vote, and vote for Biden. Kennedy cannot win.

Teamster members and leaders have the right to demand an answer to the questions: What does the general president intend to say? What does he hope to achieve from such an appearance? ...
