An Argument for a 32 hour week

32-hour workweek has the potential to unite the working class; large unions grew their membership in 2023; fast-food is turning into higher-skilled work.

Interesting. 32 hour work weeks? Sounds like Local 89 with 5 hour work days with full time pension and benefits. Americans have the highest work week compared to Europe's (France 35, Germany 36 for examples).

Yes, after living in both Europe and the US for decades, I can say that overwork, along with the differences in accessing high quality healthcare, is a major reason US Americans live shorter and less healthy lives.
