And, as for my criticisms and charges against President O'Brien, they are based on what he has publicly said and done. We can disagree on the direction of his policies, but the criticisms and charges are based in facts. O'Brien said he fought and prevailed to "ensure that our members employed at UPS had a future that was not gonna be replaced by artificial intelligence and robots.”

Given the urgency of the situation surrounding automation and job losses at UPS, it's imperative to understand what concrete steps the O'Brien administration plans to take to address this pressing issue. Can you provide specifics on the proposed course of action to protect workers' livelihoods in the face of increasing automation? Is there no plan? Was this the plan all along? Will you stand in solidarity with us on May Day and rally against corporate greed, reaffirming your ostensible commitment to defending workers' rights and livelihoods?

I really think that OZ has given up any actual policy-making. It's all opportunistic and shortsighted. Much like Hoffa. Only, less intelligent.

Poor guy wishes he was part of the in crowd. The whole reform movement proved how stupid this guy was (lifelong O'Brien supporter). He probably shines his shoes.

We are going to do something here for May Day week not sure what day yet but ITOC is calling for action. Problem is they laid off the whole day sort so it’s kinda hard to plan a week given that management has no clue if we are understaffed or overstaffed lol shit show

Attention all UPS Teamsters nationwide! May Day is fast approaching, and it's time to mobilize like never before.

On May Day, let's take our message directly to the heart of UPS operations – every hub, every facility, across the country. This is our opportunity to show UPS Corporate and Teamster leadership that we refuse to be silenced or ignored.

From coast to coast, let's organize protests, rallies, and actions at every UPS location. We'll make our voices heard loud and clear, demanding an end to layoffs, automation, and the erosion of our rights and livelihoods.

President Sean O'Brien's empty promises and blatant lies cannot go unchallenged. He assured us that he had addressed the threat of AI and automation, yet here we are, facing layoffs and the encroachment of robots into our workplaces.

Let's show our strength and solidarity by refusing to sign up for double shifts in areas affected by layoffs. Together, we can disrupt UPS's plans to use overtime to push laid-off workers out the door.

Part-timers, drivers – all of us must stand firm in our resolve to protect our jobs and futures. By standing together, we send a powerful message: we won't be divided, and we won't be replaced.

Let May Day be a testament to our unity and determination. Together, we will prevail!

WSWS is an anti union organization trying to spread
discourse among the members. The thing is that nobody really cares about these socialists. They are irrelevant.
