The greatest abuse of power and unadulterated political retaliation in the history of the IBT, and perhaps of any union. All long-term, elected by their members, multiple times, and retaliated against for their support of the opposing slate. Of course, this rewards the liars, rats and thieves, and serves to quiet all opposition. The oz/tdu/iio trinity is ruining democracy that took so long to bring to the members. Pathetic...

The order clearly stated non of these officers could keep in touch with Rome during his suspension. They didn't follow the order.

This goes beyond keeping in touch with Rome. This was always personal. Always

And the order NEVER said that. As I understand it, an obscure case was used after his suspension was over, to get him and all of his supporters, friends, and fellow officers.

The case clearly stated they couldn't keep communicating with Rome.

If they didn't know why were they using burner phones?

As a lawyer, Jason Rabinowitz should have known that buying a property with Rome during his suspension was gonna get his dumbass in trouble.

Whether you choose to agree with the communications ban, it's pretty clear. Don't do it. As Obama said don't do stupid stuff. They all got burned by their stupidity and arrogance. That seems to be a reccurring problem with many leaders in our union. Want the IDO to leave? Stop doing stupid shit.
