In my opinion, which presidential candidate and party supports worker rights and which presidential candidate and party attacks worker rights should not a difficult decision especially for a labor a “leader”. One only needs to look at each candidate’s NLRB appointments, their actions and other easily found facts. The IBTs states it contributed to both parties so each can hear equally from all rank & file members. So, the message is the same, if you support or attack workers, here is $43,000! What kind message is that? Given the percent that voted against our best interest as union members in the last two elections, perhaps one of those donations would have been better spent on educating members on the difference between supporters or attackers. Yes, a challenging position, but the sign of a true “leader”. Might this has less to do with the presidential election and more to do with equally appeasing all members in the upcoming Teamster election?

I might remind us all that Biden saved the Central States and a number of at risk Teamster pension plans, keeping his promise, after many never produced for us, blowing us off for over a decade. His changes at the NLRB, the focus on project labor agreements, granting funds to union projects, can be discounted. Workers are notorious for voting against their best interests. They should be solely focused on the issues that affect their livlihood and their jobs. Without their jobs, pension, and health benefits they can't afford to worry about abortion, gun rights, immigration, etc.
Even recognizing trump will give cover to those who don't get it and can't figure out that without a decent livelihood, nothing else matters.
Oz did ANOTHER terrible disservice, not only to IBT members, but against all working people.

Well stated, this appears to be apeasment of Trump voters in our house. Don't be surprised if these clowns take the no endorsement route. They are only concerned about remaining in office. Thats the primary mover.
