I can say for sure, that some of the very people that are pushing for Rome to be permanently banned, and everybody else also associated with Rome. It’s a giant hypocrisy, but Rome did know the rules, and he did it to himself. Still, if you’ve known the man for 40 years, you know what he did for labor. You know what he did for the Teamsters. He was a rockstar and he got too big and powerful and he had to be taken out by a faction of the old guard. Most people don’t know this, but the ticket was going to be SOB in Rome Before SOB had a falling out with Hoffa and Hall. He went to his second option. Fred

Whomever Mr Teamster is, confirms what I also heard about SOB and Aloise. Would have allowed SOB to learn about the rest of the Union. But the controllers of SOB wouldn't allow it, tdu wouldn't have it, and they conspired to remove the biggest obstacle to the oz slate. Unfortunately, they are still obsessed with Alose, and continue to punish the few officers that were worth a damn. Just look at the destruction of JC7. Aloise, for all intent and purpose is a dead Teamster!

Not on this site. The IBT boys can't stop talking or thinking about Aloise.

At one point in Teamster history (i.e., when Diana Kilmury challenged Jackie Presser from the floor of the Las Vegas Convention), the need for the Consent Decree was obvious; those days are long gone. The current IRB/IIO has nothing to do with union democracy or protecting the IBT. The IRB/IIO has been staffed with anti-union investigators (i.e., right-wing pundit, Joseph diGenova), Trump lawyers (i.e., Brian Kelly of Nixon/Peabody, who is trying to keep Trump on the ballot in Massachusetts) or Charles Carberry from the IBT’s neighbor, Jones/Day.

The current role of the IIO - at least in regards to JC7 - is to punish anyone who dared to speak with Aloise during his suspension/ban. Nobody has been charged with stealing funds, denying rights to members or any other crimes. They are simply being charged with violating an IIO rule; speaking with Rome, not for an illegal purpose, but to better serve the members and build the union.

Even Ms. Kilmury has begun to see the light; that should tell you something.

Exactly — we can’t rely on this mechanism anymore. Look at the broad passes it’s giving to OZ.

Stand up to the bully, we all saw what happened when Senator Mullin told the wee little leprichan to stand his butt up. 82 year old Bernie saved his little ass.

There is actually a conspiracy theory on this scenario. I can say with certainty that there is an investigation going on by the FBI into Lindsay Doherty. It also could implicate SOB. There’s the conspiracy out there that SOB wants to align himself with Trump so that Trump can get Mark Wayne Mullen off of his back. The rumor is that he’s worried about a possible RFK scenario.

How certain are you? When the FBI is investigating someone it's not something that is published or reported. I call BS

I'm not one to support the dick stepper, i feel she has done more bad shit than any good for her members with her uncaring acts, her foul mouth that she thinks makes her a bad ass (which she is not) and the fact that she hates people doesn't make her a leader. She's far from being a leader and everyone in JC42 wants her gone.

I'm wondering if they are talking to that fired BA and the Warner Bros steward? Or maybe the guy that got knocked out at that membership meeting?

Purpose? Perhaps to get back on track. Kilmury and others are making an important point, the Consent decree violations have morphed into something never anticipated and with nothing to do with its original purpose. Now you can be barred for talking to the wrong person about union work. That was never the intent.
