The original labor union call for ceasefire back in the Fall (by a UFCW Local and UE) included a call for the release of the hostages. Later, the UAW Executive Board signed on to that. This call is flawed.

How is making a statement against genocide costing the Teamsters tresury one red cent? The genocide in WWII was a stain on humanity, the ongoing genocide in Ukraine is a stain on humanity, the slaughter of 1500 Israeli's by hamas is a stain on humanity, and the killing of 28,000 Palestinians mostly innocent civilians including children is a stain on humanity. This is not a political statement it's a humanitarian crisis.BTW this post cost me nothing.
