        It is!

Pepsi and Coke distributers were mostly under Teamster contracts back in the day, now union soft drink and beer distributers are getting hard to find. Coke and Pepsi have encouraged and assisted distributers to decertify and they do it local by local.

The locals are directly to blame for decerts, they don't represent the members correctly and the companies feed on that to turn the members against the union.

Hey... When you hear split raises, think Coke and Pepsi. The Teamsters really screwed these contracts up.

The locals deserve their share of the blame but Coke and Pepsi are Giant Corporations taking on Local unions. They do it systematically over several contracts. Doing away with union benefits and finally sponsoring decerts. They are mostly independent distributers but Coke and Pepsi pull the strings.
