Seriously, in this union organizing is mostly left up to the Locals. The IBT can't seem to hire good organizers and when they get one that can put two sentences together they fire them. Now their hiring people who have never been teamsters. The Local staffs, when they see an IBT organizer, expect them to have experience as a Teamster, Out of 1.2 million members you'd think they could find good people.

well unfortunately the most important quality to have as an organizer is the ability to
blindly follow and never ask any questions. This sadly disqualifies many people in this union.

farmer is a saint compared to the new organizing department he fired the current organizing director in 2019.

There was a major issue with the way organizers were hired back then. I heard that one organizer was hired by Manny V after he friended her at her job at Starbucks. A lot were hired after lost organizing drives and after that failed they head hunted them from SEIU which was a huge mistake because the Teamsters didn't allow them to use their drums for attention.
