    The "New" Teamsters

I have now come to the conclusion that it is actually the "new teamsters". If New means firing over 200 qualified and experienced staffers without cause, and disgraceful and ignorant actions by a VP, that is painted up like a clown, obviously done over the years to gain attention, and now she is given a stage by the TDU/Government/ IIO controllers. Why? It undermines the Teamsters. The IBT is the joke union in the state when it used to be seen as the Gold standard of what a Union should be. Three VPs, who have no respect from anyone and have never done a thing. A former desk clerk in a hotel, a daddy's girl, and a guy whose father got him the job and who never worked as a Teamster. Their collective careers, cumulatively have produced nothing that anyone can point to. There is already a public split on the GEB, they continue to have to use the IIO to remove suspected opponents and intimidate anyone from being critical. At the top of the organization we have officers and their Executive Assistants who are controlled by the Feds. They failed on UPS, cut and ran. The CEO of UPS felt it was no problem to go public with what a cheap contract it was. Unheard of in the past. I could go on, but rather than professional, experienced and capable leadership, the members now have theater, PR firms, and smoke and mirrors...and leadership that embarrasses them publicly. The NEW teamsters!

At least 95% of the above statement is spot on. More and more are seeing the damage this bunch has done in a short time. The union needs leaders to step up, Palmer is just the first.

They are probably refering to the Dick stepper. Ask around what east coast movie members and leadership thinks of her. I hear Tom O’Donnell has came out directly challenging some of her decisions on a movie division zoom call and she had no answers. T is also rumored that she is trying to give 399 movie jurisdiction over the whole country.

And ask the NM local what happens when you start challenging her and 399s jurisdiction and succeeding.

                    I was referring to this:

"Three VPs, who have no respect from anyone and have never done a thing. A former desk clerk in a hotel, a daddy's girl, and a guy whose father got him the job and who never worked as a Teamster. You can have your opinion about not liking someone, for whatever reason, but falsely suggesting someone didn't work in the craft (whichever of the many crafts the Teamsters represents), or worse denigrating the craft someone may've worked in; well that is just disrespectful and unbecoming.
We formerly had a GP that may've only worked a few casual jobs during the summer while going to college, before working as a staff attorney for a JC to finally gain eligibilityto run for office. The disconnect between him and the members showed, but so many supported his rather passive leadership.
My understanding is that the current GEB all worked in craft and were elected at different levels of leadership along the way.
