    Amazon & the ALU

I’m sure some of you have seen it. The ALU has petitioned for an election at an Amazon facility in Ontario CA.

meanwhile what the fuck is Joint council 42 and Randy Korgan doing?

If Sean O’Brien wants this Amazon campaign to work he is really off to a bad start by hiring korgan as the director.

So far the ALU has petitioned for a handful of elections and the IBT hasn’t done a damn thing.

O'Brien handed Amazon a gift when he decided to keep Korgan as the Amazon Teamster Director.

Wait till Amazon exposes Korgan's dirty background and his four salaries and pension contributions.

Korgan does have a project attempting to prove that so-called third party drivers are in reality Amazon employees. Part of it involves extending pickets for brief periods all over the country. If successful it could make delivery driver organizing possible.

As far as the Fullfilment Centers, I've heard of nothing, but there are other members on Teamsterlink that know more about it.

Whose paying these 3rd party drivers on picket duty? They were let go by their Employer when Amazon pulled their contract. This strategy isn't going to work because you can't pay these guys forever. ALU has a better chance with fulfillment centers

Correct me if I'm wrong but I understand the GEB passed a resolution to pay the expenses of the roving pickets.
