All this griping about conventions and conferences that officers travel to. Do you think these were invented in the last 18 months? All this shock and outrage when traveling has been going on for decades? Get real. Last time I checked, for people to get together for workshops, events and speeches from across North America, some travel is involved. Virtual conferencing is ok for minor meetings, but in person is needed.

Another shocker: A woman VP is at the annual IBT Women's Conference? Didn't see that coming. I would hope that the hundreds of women members (some officers, mostly just members) going to this conference want to meet the women VPs. Cue heckle track.

I don’t think the hate is for the things mentioned in your post. The hate is for a 15 year Teamster who is where she is because of nepotism. She latched on to Obrien because of her daddy. She was all over hoffas nuts up until 2020. She is a fake ass teamster.

He hasn’t set foot on the picket line. You know the one her members are not crossing and are out of work. They are literally losing their houses. We are talking a out people that are used to making 4 to 5 thousand a week. You have to think a out it. Nobody as seen her. She shows up all over the country. She makes $230,000 for her job in her local. She makes $80,000 at the IBT. This seems kinda disproportionate.

I seen a video she posted on X = twitter for the motion picture industry, and she has zero charisma, the video is cold and not compassionate to the needs of her members. Right now at this moment she needs to tone down her fake toughness and truly stand with her members. It's almost like shes putting on a show for the guilds and forgetting who actually votes for her.

Instead of blaming the AMPTP for her failed leadership skills maybe she should own it and try to save her ass from getting voted out in a few years. I see that she has warned her members with the threat of her own strike with the studios next year, you really think her members will be willing to go out on strike just so she can save face? She better get use to eating crow, her members will not be willing to go out after she gave the green light to put shows out of business to save her reputation of being a so called badass.

Yeah other unions are on strike not the Teamsters but there was talk about her allowing Teamsters (under her husbands lead) to drive WGA members to productions so that they could shut them down, how is that not hurting her members, she took an oath not to knowingly harm other Teamster members. Those members that were still working were not scabbing because as you mentioned Teamsters were not on strike. Another thing i'm hearing is that she really does not have any empathy towards her members and what they are going through, no pay, losing property and cars, ruining their credit so she should at least show some compassion and humanity not traveling or being in negotiations for crafts that she has nothing to do with the movie industry. Her priorities are not her members and it shows.
She should be out on those picket lines showing solidarity and moving her members to do the same, but from what i see she has zero following, i wonder if she's feeling the heat from her out of work members that are giving her an earful on the phone and in text.
