"We've Changed the Game" said the announced TA

It doesn't seem like the game has changed at all, we've got another "best ever" UPS contract. In fact the very same Vice Presidents that told us the last two contracts were the best ever are at it again with the "best ever".

The only thing that's changed is the speed at which the IBT got the OZ spin out accompanied by printed summaries and graphics. All produced literally just a few minutes after a TA was reached (good thing they had it ready, just in case). Even the glossy summary is written to confuse, several people are interpreting it to mean a $10.25 raise over term and it is not.

If the IBT has the time to put all of this PR, than they have the time to provide members the contract language and details that have been agreed to. That really doesn't seem like too much to ask.

Based only on general statements from the International this has a lot in it and everyone should study the details when there provided. What hasn't changed is part-timers will probably be disappointed. If its what there saying it will probably pass but it won't represent the organizing tool at places like Amazon that we'd hoped for.

Will it move the needle when it comes to Amazon workers.

Thank you! Well said. It was us, the membership that made all those changes, not Sean O'brien or his cronies. We all saw the light in 2013 thanks to a movement and expected change. These ****roaches just are taking the credit for it.

Hold your horses on that. This TA looks like a NO VOTE.

Absolutely, we want the details. Frankly I'm seeing language that looks weak. What about benefit $, the language is in the supplements but the money's from national?

The officers in the West, regardless of politics, have always defended the WCTPF until now. Pension trustees who supported this betrayal should resign immediately.
