Sadness for our Yellow brothers and sisters.

I know we have thought this day would be here and gone a long time ago i feel an overwhelming sadness for our Union brothers and sisters. This will be a stain on the Teamsters for a long time. A lot of finger pointing. I see people out of a job that had benefits and i know the pension sucked for some but those health benefits are gone. They have to stress out and start a new job. Just want to say my heart goes out to them.

Agreed. A lot of long term teamsters without healthcare and generally looking at long times to qualify under new employment. This is a real disaster for these members and their families. Did we do everything we could? I'm not sure.

Members who are in there 50s and 60s. It won’t be easy for them to find medical. It’s sad

A lot of long time members with families, mortgages, and possible health care needs. Sad that this company bears more responsibility for destroying the National Master Freight Agreement and the unionized LTL segmant than any competitor, union buster, or union leader. My heart goes out to many of my lifelong friends who have been put in this position through no fault of thier own.
