Is O'Brien's fight for $20 to shut down the militant $25 movement?

How many think this ruckus over $20 as starting wage for new part-timers is orchestrated by Sean O'Brien and UPS to fight of the real militant $25 movement?

As we all know TDU has backed off the fight for $25.

With politicians now joining the fight for $20 and the possibility of a strike over such an insulting wage this has to be a setup by O'Brien and his corporate buddies in Atlanta. Joe Biden is probably also helping.

Part-timers, hold the fort and demand your $25. Fuck O'Brien, TDU, Atlanta and Washington! Don't let any of these assholes take away what you deserve, especially the OZholes!

Imagine this. All existing employees that are part time and go up to $25 immediately. On top of this catch-up raises and a system that distributes them fairly based on seniority. Then the new employees that have not been hired yet start off at $20 an hour. This would be a contract that people would vote for and they could keep the starting rate at $20 an hour.

The $25 campaign would sure screw up any handshake deal on $20. They forgot the cardinal rule, you'll never see UPS's best until the very end.

True statement, horrible idea. It very well could happen. Agreeing to this would perpatuate the 2 tier mess that is dividing our membership and the entire labor movement. Leadership would bite on this and sell it. Stop the OZholes 25 or NO FOR EVERYONE. #shortguyssuck.

I'm curious, does anyone care about working conditions? It's always about money of course, but what about OT, sups working, vacation and such?

There are supposed to be 54-55 ta's on noneconomic issues. We can't see the real language or even our own proposals but short summaries are available. So yes we care alot but until we see something its rumors.
