Hey Fraud Zuckerman, what about the healthcare?

I guess I'll be the one to speak about the big elephant in the room. Not one single person is talking about the healthcare. How are we supposed to improve the healthcare when we know it decreased in 2013 and was never an issue in 2018. We have an administration that is talking about profit without talking about improvements to healthcare and even the pensions.

Fred Zuckerman made this a staple in his pursuit of higher office in 2013 in to 2016 and now doesn't even want to talk about it. We all know that you cannot have a maintenance of benefits clause in the contract when the union is running the healthcare. That means that we absorb all the costs of running our own benefits. TDU was on the forefront of the vote no movement but wanted Union run benefits. They were essentially destroying our benefits knowing union benefits are on the lower scale of what we had.

I want to know how they are going to improve the healthcare when it was Sean O'Brien who ruined it in 2013. I said this for the longest time, Fred is only in office for Fred. The irony of all of this is that Fred Zuckerman voted for the 2013 contract then went on to lead a charge for voting against what he voted for.

Wow look at what LU 89 and the Joint Council paid him for 2 and 2/3' months. Compare it to 2021.....

Union health and welfare plans are far superior to company plans. Period.

Ummm, I guess you never had a UPS company plan. It was far superior to any union plan.

Did you forget 18 supplements were rejected in 2013 because members were upset of losing their superior healthcare to the shitcare O'Brien was in charge of creating? The garbage C6 Plan from the central states was converted into Teamcare.

Teamcare did not cover many medications the company plan covered and those with children with disabilities also lost therapies etc.

We had guys with children with acne problems. The new shit Taft-Hartley plans in 2013 didn't cover the Accutane medication either.

If it wasn't for the reform movement, the out of pocket costs would have been far worse (80% on almost everything).. The people in Local 623 who despised me are now complaining about the med invoices they receive. I can only laugh on the inside.
