Sean O’Brien Is an Idiot But the Teamsters Are Good

[X-TDUer]

I appreciate the sentiment but how good are we to reelect this "idiot"? A few years ago TDU would have been a significant part of this story, but now everyone knows they've completely sold out so why bother to mention them.

A very good article by Hamilton Nolan. Nolan is a prominent author writing on unions and working class issues and followed by many in Labor. Here he is speaking for most other unions.

We should be leading the Labor movement as Teamsters, instead we have an egotistical President supporting the very anti-union politicians that want to kill us. Is there anyone on the new GEB that has the guts to stand up and speak out?

Members should start speaking up at monthly membership meetings. When the chair of the meeting calls for new business, ask why our GP is supporting our enemies? And draft resolutions against using our Union’s name in OBriens enablement and support for enemies of organized labor.

[Magruder]

That would be effective if it could be organized Unfortunately there isn't enough communication between members to pull it off.
