The headline speaks volumes. All the officers were caught completely off guard and have to scramble to comply, that is when their not busy hearing from pissed off members.

Great read. It's time to wake up and smell the coffee. It's old and it's burnt nothing has changed.

Have you noticed that they aren't talking strike, strike, strike anymore?

Let's see who is out there at my gate this evening. I will take a picture.

So let's run some theoretical numbers using 300,000 as the UPS dues paying membership. In the last contract vote using electronic voting less than 50% voted. Now in the frenzied strike voting process we would be lucky to see 50,000 votes let's say they vote 95% to authorize a strike thats 47,500 thats 15.83% deciding for the whole group and giving Seanie Boy the right to pull the trigger. The problem here will be him stating he received a 95% vote. I hope I'm wrong but I suspect not, they will never share the real number of voters with us. We should demand to see those numbers. What's democratic about any of this?

20% of the membership participated in the strike authorization in 2018.

Those who cast the ballots decide nothing!
Those who count the ballots decide everything!
