It is short and sweet by design. We boiled it down to its simplest form to avoid delay.
Our main objectives are to secure our Teamster membership that was threatened and obtain just cause language and a grivance procedure.

[NYNick]

You should show up at the TDU convention and hand out these proposals!

Nice work on the proposals. Will there be seperate economic proposals?
Are you comfortable that Artice 9 section F is enough to deal with problems that could arise as a result of Article 9 section D?

The IBT could learn from you and release copies of the Union's proposals in the next UPS negotiations.

[WTF891]

The organizers aren't asking for much more than just cause and a grievance process. This is a really bare bones contract. Sign the deal and move on to your better bad ideas podcast Seanie boy.

[Watcher745]

If they added that all organizers agree that O’Brien is 6ft tall he would sign in a minute!

[jerseymike78]

I think NYNick is right. These organizers should show up at the TDU convention, in fact they should be invited to speak and tell their story. Maybe they would be willing to give a workshop on organizing.
What do you say Paff or is now Puff?

[Yard Dog]

Is that Drunk from up here in Jersey still doing the Organizing ?

[Gimliboston9]

Wow, motherfuckers, scumbags and now drunks, you sound pretty angry when speaking of fellow teamsters. Guess you follow O’Brien’s rule it’s you vs everybody!

[AlJackson1962!]

Unless I missed it, I don't see any proposal addressing the right to honor any primary picket line, an essential right - unless the CBA does not include a no strike provision.
Maybe the IBTSC is waiting to see if the IBT demands a no strike clause?

[UnionistIBT]

I can see where that could be important, they should add it.
