I believe it is whats called a dues assessment. The members dues will go up until the debt is paid off. What a shame that our Supreme Court could make a decision like this. Reprehensible

The sad thing about this entire issue is that a shrewd Principal Officer never would have risked the member's money by pulling an amateur stunt like this. The workers could have easily struck the Employer without this needless damage to the mixers. That's why even the more liberal justices on the court ruled against Local 174.

The members of Local 174 are entitled to see what the legal bill has cost them, throughout this whole fiasco. I hope someone in that Local stands up and asks.

Rick has no loyalty to anyone but himself. He's stabbed many of his fellow Teamsters in the back, including Jim Hoffa(who gave Rick an $80,000 a year stipend to do nothing), in his hunger for multiple salaries and power. His staff is afraid to give him any advice because they risk being ridiculed and insulted by Rick in front of their co-workers.
