No need to cheat when ya got what it takes.

Just watched the video of Coleen discussing her banning from LN conference. Let me first say...I appreciate her passion as well as the other members of TM. That said, I'm disappointed in her in this video for the same reason that I am disappointed with other Teamsters on Tlink when they intentionally post comments that are out of context for affect. (I am not so disappointed with those that do this that seriously lack communication skills. Unfortunately, that's the best that they can do.) Here, Coleen has the skills to make points that are objective and accurate and be effective, yet she simply slants. "Dues (that pay) for pensions"??? Really? Additionally, TM is fighting to get rid of "no strike" clauses"? Really? Not ever gonna happen on this planet. Pick a better spot. She and the interviewer go on to suggest that "SOB takes money from the bosses for his campaign"? SOB is a sell out and has no place in the Teamsters as an officer in any capacity. But this statement is so far out of context for affect. The fact that an employer is connected to his podcast in any manner is indefensible as a union member. But presenting in this context knowing that others that are less informed will hear it as it was presented is a bit over the top. As soon as I see these tactics I begin to lose a bit of trust in any commentary or publication going forward. Ya got the proper skills. Use them. It's disrespectful to the members. No need to cheat.
