I personally like Rome. I think the government and those within the IBT did him dirty. But once the government makes a call, you can't mess around. He should've just went on a two year sabbatical

You know he put the Power Slate together. That's why he's bringing all of those idiots down.

He negotiated a sham contract in exchange of super bowl, world series and NBA Finals tickets.

He also entered into bid rigging with Grand Fund.

        Rome is a crook.

I have no doubt that Teamsters Local 174 Secretary-Treasurer Hicks has his back-stabbing, bottom-feeding, opportunistic fingerprints all over the charges against one of the best Teamster leaders in the country, John Scearcy. One has to wonder if O'Brien will reward Hicks by giving him Scearcy's Local 117.

What part of you can't speak to a suspended hofficer do you not understand? Rick Hicks is a scumbag opportunist, but he stayed away from Rome and ratted him out.

The same happened years back with Dane Passo. Follow the fucking rules and nothing will happen to you.

I've never liked the idea of the government telling us who we can and can't talk to. I still don't and they can't do anything like this in any other union. Problem is if they charge every Teamster leader who had contact with Rome Aloise during his suspension the GEB will not be able to reach Quorum.

I don't like that from the gov. either and a lot of people felt that we were done with government intervention. Rome's case is over, this is about some good officers who had contact with him during the suspension, So far they sorta seem to be from the previous opposition.

Absolutely, the guy lasted years longer than he should have. He gave the judge the finger and continued violating his suspension. The charges were loaded with tons o factual evidence.

It's amazing to me that Teamsters who worship Jimmy Hoffa, in spite of his crimes, his turning pension funds over to the Mafia, running the IBT from prison (for awhile), etc., are so quick to condemn Aloise in favor of government oversight. TDU, hand-in-hand with the likes of Trump hitman Joseph diGenova, have turned our union into a bunch of power-hungry snitches, using the IRB/IIO as weapons against political foes. Now,we see members' careers threatened simply because they talked to a banned former official. It's a f..king disgrace.

Terry, Rome Aloise is a scumbag just like the entire old guard has been. Rome's father Vincent was even ashamed of his pathetic son.

Rome sold out members for ages just like the Hoffas and every other old guard family did.

But Rome negotiated sham contracts in exchange of gifts. Rome also entered into bid rigging with his friends at Grand Fund.

Rome is the biggest Fraud since Hoffa Sr ran the Teamsters.

Stop blaming TDU for his own fucks ups. Rome did it himself.

Rome was so in bed with the government that he got a 24 month suspension for a charge everyone else would have been expelled for. It's his fault his sorry entitled ass couldn't follow the order.

Believe me Costco does not miss his sweetheart contracts.

Hating Aloise is all well and good. However, if you read Jone's report of December 22, 2017, you will fund she found nothing of the sort of the BS faust posted. The Faust statement is simply a regurgitation of diGenova's accusations that Jones found not to be true. In fact, she went out of her way to say Aloise fucked up, but did nothing for himself, was not accused of anything unlawful or corrupt. This site is supposed to be about truth and accuracy. Hate and hypocrisy allowed, inaccuracies to make a point shouldn't be.

I agree with Koldiww , we need to be better then other sites who just post unsubstantiated comments. I’m waiting to see just how many of the current GEB members are on the list of people who had conversations with Aloise. Will they be suspended ? Our president has been suspended before , remember ?
