UPS Part-Timers gearing up to reject anything under $25 as starting wage & NorCal

It's good to see part-timers taking initiative to reject anything under $25 in starting wage and 75 cents per year of service in catch-up wages.

Also the rumor out of the NorCal Supplement is that if a national TA is reached without further progress they would recommend a No vote.

Good for the part-timers and NorCal Supplement!

'Faust' (or anyone who knows) - Please add some details to this. Who and where are Part-Timers organizing for $25/hr or 'Vote No'? What are they doing to spread the word?

We are part-timers from Illinois, Virginia, Massachusetts,Texas, Southern California and other states. We have the 25/75/5 plan. $25 starting and base pay. $0.75 for every year of service and 5% wage increase.
We are trying to reach as many members as we can. We are internally organizing within our own hubs and branching out. We are uber grassroots.
If we don't get "25/75/5" we will advocate and push a "NO VOTE".

What are they fighting for? What are they standing for? Where are they REALLY drawing the line?

$25 starting and base pay and $0.75 for every year of service. 5% wage increase. Create more full-time jobs. They will be a meeting this weekend and one of the issues is "what is going to be the line in the sand"?
They are standing for an equatable, livable and dignified contract. For too long part-timers have been an afterthought. Pay that is more like a poverty pay.
