They removed him from all assignments for having an opinion on the horrible direction O'Brien is taking the union.

John Palmer was TDU's champion and one of five that got them the seat at the table. WTF. TDU must really be pissed about it, that is if this is true.

David Levin could give two fucks. All he cares is about collecting $30k to run the UPS campaign. I really hope O'Brien dumps them after this contract is done.

Ken Paff is sad, but he is gutless.

But make no mistake, John Palmer who was promised the National Organizing job left TDU before he was shut down by O'Brien.

John Palmer was an organizer for over 30 years his experience is in organizing. He work on the overnite campaign under Carey if I’m not mistaken. So saying he never ran a local does not mean he is not a capable person.
there are a lot of the new organizers who were hired who could not hold a candle to Palmer . I love their facebook posts groveling to Oz about how happy they are to have a job. Most of them TDU rejects.
I’m not a fan either way of any of these Oz people but I am a fan of the truth.

You can be an organizer for 100 years doesn’t mean you acquire leadership skills. He may be a good organizer doesn’t mean he’s a good leader. They just don’t remove people for the hell of it. Willie Ford and Tabi seem to be doing alright.

                  Taibi is a complete buffoon.

Willie Ford like Juan Campos are not happy with O'Brien.

TDU had a purpose there is no argument about that. There was a lot of corruption. What TDU stood for and what they are today are unrecognizable they sold out to get elected. John Palmer lost his local election 3-1 when he ran in 2018 when he got sent home from Hoffa and all that time he still couldn’t win. I care about the truth myself there is always more than 1 side to the story there’s actually 3.

Sasquatch you must know nothing about organizing if you think there is no leadership qualities needed.

I’ll agree with you on all the new organizers they hired durning the change of the administration. I wouldn’t touch any of them with a 50 foot pole. That being said just cause Palmer was good 30 some years ago doesn’t mean he’s good today.

That’s why his local rejected him 3-1 when he ran against Perkins. You can be the greatest organizer ever, doesn’t mean you have leadership skills to be on the GEB. Palmer never went to a panel, arbitration, nothing. Obviously everyone felt the same that’s why he’s sitting home. I highly doubt Oz sent him home for nothing. They want to sew up the next election, do you really think they want problems? Even if they don’t like TDU they still want their support. Again it looks likes every other TDU person who got a job is still working.

Every answer in the poll is correct, that's why they sent him home. Although I think it was more about the sneakers than anything else, LOL

So why didn't they hire any TDU/Reformers from California?

The Teamsters, because of the sort of patronage system that always seems to develop, is plagued by followers and kiss asses. But its those who have gone against the grain that have made the union great. I have great respect for principled people like John Palmer who have the guts to stand up even when they isolate him on the board or go so far as to relieve him of his salaried position. What kind of a petty person would take this action in what is supposed to be a democratic union? Really how low will they go?

This is a big step backward for the union.
