Cost Neutral is a Straw Man

The IBT social media machine is pounding away on what they say is UPS's primary demand, a "cost neutral" contract. It feels like their building this issue up because its so easy to knock down. Members must not let the propaganda machine define victory as avoiding a "cost neutral contract". UPS knows this contract will cost big $ and their prepared to pay. Its surprising this bs is coming from the IBT as if they are taking UPS's argument seriously. This is not a situation where we have to give something to get something. We know it and UPS knows it too.

At last !!! There is someone out there that is actually looking at this vast PR campaign along with the social media propaganda. Where are the promised updates with real facts not just blurbs ? Whatever happened the survey results ? Why is no one actually questioning there idiocy of finishing supplements prior to hearing the economics of the national ?
This entire campaign has been waged with our president traveling the country rallying the troops with threats and ultimatums pandering to the basic desire to “ get even” with UPS by using the Strike word .
Seems like a lot or drama and over acting to cover up the possibility of a deal that has already been reached behind the scene……

I can’t understand how supplements are supposed to negotiate health and welfare improvements and pension increases when the amount of money negotiated is in the national ? How do you go forward without knowing how much you have to work with ? Am I missing something ?

If the union really were really transparent as they claim, we'd know the exact issues that are holding up the supplements. We're just the audience in a big, long performance.

It's a complete information brownout and TDU has enabled this to happen.
