Why TDU???

Let me preface: Over the course of twenty-two years as a union organizer, I knew that it was necessary to spend resources in areas where those resources could be put to effective use. AND NOT TO USE RESOURCES IN AREAS THAT THEY WOULD BE WASTED BECAUSE IT WOULD MAKE NO DIFFERENCE. We all have feelings generated by opinions. I get it. I'm still bewildered by all of the TDU "hatred". The influence generated by the commentary is rather moot. The organization is not an elected one. It clearly has found a way to grow and spread roots as a condition of the "coalition". I disagree with it only because I would prefer a watchdog organization instead. However, it ain't goin' nowhere as a result of the verbalized hatred. O'Brien and the GEB are the problem. It (they) is wrong as a result of complicity, or as a result of their agreement with the little business unionist with a head like a pumpkin or a cabbage. THEY can be replaced or weakened by membership activism. Not TDU. WTF are you hoping to attempt? I've said it before. Create/begin a movement that will make material differences in time, and I'll sign up for it. Hooker is a "nice" guy coming from the right place. As an insurgent trying to be a part of an organized movement...he is woefully inadequate. Use resources (time, energy) to make a material difference. Either that or go yell at the rest of the teenagers on Facebook or some other social media platform. Cripes.
